About the company

Euromilk Co. was founded in Veľký Meder in 1964, and in 2001 it was transformed into a corporation. Since its foundation to the present day it has relied on the long-lasting tradition of agricultural production in South Slovakia – in the heart of Žitny Ostrov, Dunajská Streda district.

Euromilk, Co. deals with processing raw cow‘s milk as well as with producing and distributing dairy products. The structure of production is particularly specialised on Long Life (UHT) Milk, Long Life Cream, sour cream, butter and milk puddings.

With regard to its distances from some capital cities – just 70 km from Bratislava, 129 km from Budapest and 130 km from Vienna, the company boasts with a perfect location for logistics. Mainly this favourable and strategic location, wide-ranging plans, a still living tradition of keeping and breeding cows and milk production ensure its successful development.

It has well-established, reliable and long-term business relations with its suppliers, which ensure fair cooperation and high quality production. Euromilk guarantees high quality products with using Slovakian ingredients, qualified employees and utilizing advanced technologies.

Besides selling on the Slovakian market, Euromilk exports a remarkable amount of its products to foreign markets. It cooperates with international chains as well as with independent purchasers.

The aim of the corporation is to ensure a constant supply of fresh and quality products, which represents its business philosophy – to encourage healthy nutrition.

Thanks to the reconstruction of the corporation and to new technologies that have been partly financed by SAPARD programme, in 2004 Euromilk Co. obtained an EU registration number: EU: SK 4-6-17 EHS.

The company disposes of a certificate about internationally recognized standards for the quality management of businesses: ISO 9001:2001 and ISO 22000:2006.
